Services

Lighting first. Everything electrical too.

Lighting is what we're known for. We also do the smart upgrades and the everyday electrical jobs around the house.

Lighting
  • 01

    Chandeliers and pendants

Heavy, glass or vintage. Assembled on site, braced, levelled, hung at the right drop.

  • 02

    Ceiling and wall lights

Flush mounts, semi-flush mounts and sconces, set level and matched in height.

  • 03

    Ceiling fans with lights

Mounted on a fan-rated box so they run quiet and stay put.

  • 04

    Recessed and outdoor lighting

Downlights, porch lights, garden and path lights.

Smart home
  • 05

    Smart switches and dimmers

The right dimmer for LED fixtures, so nothing flickers or hums. Control from the wall, an app or your voice.

  • 06

    Motorised curtains and blinds

Powered, wired in neatly, and set to open and close on a schedule.

  • 07

    Scenes, sensors and timers

One tap for dinner lighting, lights that come on when you walk in.

Electrical
  • 08

    Outlets and switches

New outlets, USB outlets, moved or added switches.

  • 09

    Fault finding and repairs

Tripping breakers, dead outlets, lights that flicker. We find the cause and fix it.

  • 10

    Panel upgrades and new circuits

More capacity for a new kitchen, an appliance or a home office.

  • 11

    Safety checks and alarms

Smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, safety inspections, peace of mind before you buy or sell.

Smart home

Your home, on a schedule.

Smart switches, dimmable scenes and motorised curtains, wired in properly so they just work.

Motorised curtainsOpen

Open at sunrise. Closed at sunset.

Curtains and blinds on a motor, wired to the wall, set to a schedule or one tap.

Smart switches

Looks like a switch. Thinks like a smart one.

Swap old switches for smart ones. They still work like normal switches for guests.

Scenes

One tap sets the room.

Every light, dimmed to the right level, in one press.

Sensors and timers

Lights that know you're home.

Hall lights on when you walk in. Porch lights off at midnight.

App and voice

From the wall, your phone or your voice.

Set up with the apps and voice assistants you already use.

Wired properly

Wired in, not plugged in.

Neutral wires, boxes and hubs done right. If the internet drops, the wall switch still works.

The best part

Go on, switch it on.

Slide the dimmer, or tap a scene. Every smart dimmer we fit works like this.

Before you book

The worries, handled.

These are the questions people ask us most, answered before we start.

Is the ceiling strong enough?

We check the weight and fit a rated box or brace before anything heavy goes up.

That glass was expensive.

Fragile pieces get unboxed, checked and assembled with care, then hung.

Our house is old.

Old wiring and odd boxes are normal for us. We tell you what we find before we touch it.

Will you need to come back?

The van carries boxes, brackets and parts, so the job gets finished on the day.

I don't want a mess.

Drop sheets down, dust cleaned up, packaging taken away.

Will the smart stuff stop working?

We set it up with you, show you how it works, and the wall switch still works if the internet drops.

How a visit goes

Three steps to the switch.

Step 01

Send a photo

Of the fixture, the switch, the problem, or the room. That's usually enough to quote.

Step 02

Get a fixed quote

One price, agreed before we book. That's what you pay.

Step 03

We fit it and switch it on

On time, tidy, tested. You flick the switch before we leave.

For designers and builders

Working on a project?

We check placement before the ceiling is closed, deal with canopies that don't fit standard boxes, and work through the punch list fast.

  • Fixture schedules and drawings welcome
  • Placement flagged early, not at trim
  • Designer pieces with non-standard mounts
  • Rough-in and final fit on your timeline
  • Smart home pre-wire on new builds and renovations
  • One clear point of contact
Questions

Straight answers.

Can you hang a heavy chandelier on my ceiling?

Usually, yes. We check what's above the ceiling first. If the box isn't rated for the weight, we fit one that is, or add a brace.

I already bought the fixture. Is that fine?

That's most of our work. Send us the product link or a photo of the box and we'll tell you what's needed before we come.

Can you make my existing lights smart?

Usually, yes. Most lights go smart with a new switch or dimmer, no new fixture needed. Some switch boxes need a neutral wire added first. We check that before we quote.

Can you fit motorised curtains or blinds?

Yes. We run power to the motor, hide the wiring, and set it to open and close on a schedule, from an app or from a wall switch.

Do you do general electrical work, not just lighting?

Yes. Outlets, switches, repairs, new circuits, panel upgrades and safety checks. Lighting is just the part people see.

Do you work in older homes?

Yes. Old wiring, missing neutrals and odd ceiling boxes come up all the time. We explain what we find and what it costs before doing anything extra.

How is the price worked out?

We quote a fixed price once we know the fixture and the ceiling. That's the price you pay, unless you ask us to add something.

Do you clean up after?

Yes. Drop sheets go down first, and we take the packaging with us.

Do you work with designers and builders?

Yes. Send drawings or a fixture schedule and we'll flag placement or mounting problems early.

Let's switch it on.

Tell us what you need. We'll come back with a fixed quote.

We reply with a fixed quote. No obligation.

Got it, thanks.

We'll be in touch soon to talk through the job and book a time.
